Thanks for the add. I've been snooping around and it looks like a great community. I've got a couple of old trucks I'm messing around with at this time. One is a '59 Apache that someone put a 400 Pontiac engine, transmission and rear end in. The other a '55 one ton. I teach high school Auto Tech and like to keep a old truck and a couple of motorbikes here at work (the kids love them) I'll try to post some pictures, but... We'll see.

I got the new truck loaded and brought home yesterday. It has three split rims and one solid wheel. I've got a few random eight lug wheels laying around. I'll see if any of them will fit. I'll hang on to the split rims as there are some hub caps in the cab. If nothing else, they'll be good trading stock!!

The bed on you '59 looks to be in great shape. thumbs_up The one ton's are somewhat rare to find. Congrat's on finding your project trucks.

Welcome to the Stovebolt

Me and split rims aren't the best of friends!! I'm not sure if I want to find one more split rim or three more solid wheels!!

Pipewizard, a late welcome aboard! We have another auto shop teacher, Hotrod Lincoln. Jerry's retired but has some pretty interesting/funny stories he shares occasionally.

excellent! It's my retirement job. I've really enjoyed working with the kids. Thanks for the welcome. I've already learned a lot on this site! On a side note, I think I,ve got some wheels located. I'll pick them up monday.
