I just installed an after market front sway bar on my 59' chassis, I had a few issues get things to line up and in the end actually made my own lower brackets. DB Cooper shared a picture of his sway bar install and it's completely different than mine. So the question is did the vendor sell me the wrong kit or are there multiple kits that will work?

I am worried that yours is going to bind on the bottom of the crossmember once you load the springs. Or is that just the angle of the picture?

Yes, you need load on the springs before installing sway bar.
Body and engine

Everything clears when the weight is on the chassis. I haven't tightened anything as yet, I'll wait until everything is mounted and bounced a round a bit.

Doing some research and it seems there are a few different designs for the 55.2-59. That one I have is a larger diameter than some of the others. Most of the ones I see are similar to DB's install. I'm not certain either one is right or wrong just different.

I made my own sway bar and brackets and mounted it exactly like in the first picture. With the weight of the truck on it.

Where did you get those bars? They look bigger than most I've seen.

John, I bought the the one in the first picture from Brothers Truck, and I believe D B bought his (the second picture) from Classic Performance Products.

Mine is 1 1/8 inch diameter, I'm not sure what size D B's is.
