Truck came with a bin of misc. parts. I think I've got my hands on the two pieces that appear to be for one side of the hood. I'm specifically curious about the brakets that latch the hood after turning the handle. There should be one on the skirt and one on the firewall. If anyone has pictures or knows where I can get a replacement let me know. I assume (if these are the correct parts) that I'll be fabricating my own set.

Ok...props to you for that thread. That's an amazing idea! I was bouncing around the idea of those magnetic push to release latches, which might yield a cleaner look, but may not be as sturdy
