Hello my fellow stovebolters.
Looking to be guided in the right direction here.
I’ve been looking for information on the A.D. (47-54) right hand drive option.
Is there a current thread on this?

I know that they were not offered in the states.

Any & all help greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
Thanks

I think most if not all of the right hand drive vehicles were assembled in Canada.

Yes, that’s what I’ve gathered.
I’d like to see some pictures or video of how the interior and engine compartment was set up.
Obviously gauges & glove box would be flipped but was there any other additions to the dash?

Also the foot pedal lay out. How it looks on the opposite side of the engine bay.

Per some of the figures in the Factory Assembly manual, the brake pedal is on the right, just inboard of the frame, and clutch just inboard of that. (Sec 5, sheet 2.01)
The accelerator pedal has linkage that crosses to the right side of the cab (Sec 6 sheet 3.04). It's not clear from that figure where it lands in relationship to the brake pedal, but I'd assume it's on the right. Anything else would befuddle a driver used to LHD.
The speedometer is on the left of the steering column (Sec 4, Sheet 7.04)
And on all RHD models, the parking brake is a lever mounted to the transmisison (right of centerline).
The shifter (3 on the tree) is pointed to the left of the steering column (so operated by the left hand) and connected to the transmission by a gawdawful collection of shafts and pivot arms attached to the toe panel to get to the left side of the transmission (sec 7, sheet 2.01).

I just searched eBay for right hand drive vehicles, there was one 53 3100 listed, but from the pictures it was obviously left hand drive. There was also a 68 Camaro listed as RHD, but again, it was obviously LHD. Apparently listers don't know what RHD means. nono

Some people refuse to learn that the sides are determined from the sitting in the seat position rather than viewing from the front.

Few days searching the net & still nothing.
I would think that if there was any type of information on the right hand drive, it would be here on the stovebolt?

Ya, that’s funny how people still are confused on how to differentiate left from right
@coulover

@klhansen
I’ve looked over the assembly manual now & yes very limited info.
