I think the one Wrench Monkeys lists is probably the one you are looking for with the dual master cylinder. Advance Auto Parts here in the US also lists the same thing. They say they have it in stock, but so much is listed as in stock and then you find they don't have it. I see you are listed as being in Germany. If you want to you can send me a private message you can write in German. Or if you give me a telephone number I can call you. I have no problems speaking German over the phone. And we are planning on visiting relatives in Germany in June. I have carried a lot of spare parts to Germany in the past.

Holy moley. I don't know if John and Peg ever envisioned a Stovebolt like this. Unbelievable reach and helping.....and delivery!! A worldwide knowledge base for old trucks. They should be very proud and pleased.

Hy Dixon, they have that booster listed for your truck, I am not sure that that booster would be appropriate for a single axle truck. I have never seen that style of booster on a single axle truck.

Hello Kenneth,

I got a picture from the previous owner of the originally installed Brake Booster.
It is not the double hydrovac with two chambers.
It is, it looks like in the picture, the one with one vacuum chamber.
Maybe this will help.

Greetings Brian

This one shows to be one of the options for a C60. It was mostly used on school buses, but it may well have been used on trucks. School buses and fire trucks were shipped as an incomplete vehicle.

It shows to be in stock and it is with a vendor that I buy a lot from.

Hello members,
hello Kenneth,

Thanks to your and especially Kenneth's help, I managed to find and order a Brake Booster. Great, that makes huge joy :-)

Now I need only three things for the Fire Truck. Unfortunately I can't find any information about them.

1. air cleaner. A small filter that sits in the cabin (driver's side) and is connected to the Brake Booster.

2. the appropriate check valve, which sits between the main vacuum source and the brake booster in the vacuum line.

3. a 90 degree elbow (fitting) is screwed into the brake booster, to which the vacuum line goes. This is not included in the "new booster". Where can I get one of these.

I have written to several companies and no one can really help me.
But here in the forum sits the knowledge and secret tips :-)

Thanks in advance.

Greetings Brian

I think this is probably the illustration that applies to your truck.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/oExyyv4B54Wg1vgB6

Unfortunately none of the part numbers seem to be available any more. But these parts are really not that critical as for fitment. The illustration does not show the elbow but it is probably a 1/4" or 3/8" pipe thread. This is the same as standard threads on water pipes. If you can determine what size threads it is, you can probably use an elbow for a clamp on heater hose or fuel line hose. We used 1/2" heater hose before. A check valve is a check valve and the same for the air cleaner. If you can get an elbow to screw into the booster with a hose size of about 13 mm it should work.

Any check valve that will fit the hose and any air cleaner that will fit the hose will work. And it is usually hidden behind the seat so no one sees it.

Good morning to the forum,

how should I start?
I asked you for a brake booster for my chevrolet c60 and got many helpful tips.

I had also found one (Bendix 2512065).

But what happened? USPS lost the booster and can't find it anymore.

I have a huge hassle with USPS and I can't find a new one!
We had an order for the 16.07 for our first event. Unfortunately I had to cancel the date now.

If one of you has an idea where I can find a new or refurbished booster, I would be very grateful. This is a huge disaster for us:
...maybe someone knows someone who knows one....

Thank you in advance and have a great weekend.

Greetings Brian

I wish I had known you had not received your brake booster. I just returned from Germany a week ago. I would have been glad to carry one for you in my checked luggage. Delta allows us 2 checked bags per person of 32 kilo each. We have plans on visiting Germany again in August.

Send me a personal message. I can discuss this over the telephone with you in German.

When I am in Germany I use a VPN and chose a Dallas, Texas server. This allows me to access many more US websites while I am in Germany.

Hy Dixon, I'm sorry you are having problems with USPS. You could operate the truck without the booster, just until you locate one and plumb it into the trucks hydraulic and vacuum systems. Your brake pedal will require considerable effort to get the truck to stop, but if you are extra careful with your driving it can be done. No need to cancel your job. Good luck with the search for a booster!
