OlderBlue - Yup, those pesky core plugs are a pain in the you know what. But easily fixed. wink

The HO52 can be worth something to the right party. Up to you to try and find that party and offer it up for a price that is agreeable to them. For prices on anything, best suggestion is to look at local ads in Craigslist, FB Marketplace, eBay and such to see what same or similar stuff are being offered for. Suggestions from areas outside of yours will unlikely correspond with what things are valued at there, so best to stick with local info. Decide what you want to ask and advertise it, with the understanding that you may have to be willing to lower your expectations if you don't get any takers. Your call them to decide if worth the effort to re-home or handle as you deem fit.

You can always also list them in either the Truck Parts For Sale or Freebies forum depending on which way you want to got too. You never know if there might be a Bolter in your region that might need exactly what you are offering. smile

I plan on giving the axle parts away and I don't expect the bed is worth much. I'll definitely post them here, Thank you.

Not much has happened lately. Still working overtime and I am gone more than home but at least it affords some more parts. Got this in from Rustic Disc Brakes a bit ago. I’m waiting on the master cylinder and everything but the drums for the rear to be delivered. Then all well need are the drums, brake line, straightener and flaring tool for a complete replacement of everything brake related. Oh yeah I ordered an OEM steering wheel too.

So much for having the truck pasture ready by May. I finally collected all the parts for the brakes minus brake lines. I got the rears finished up today. I’m still studying on how I’m going to plumb the brakes lines and trying to figure out where the ‘55 lines will end and the ‘79 start, same with the parking brake cables. Ideally I will buy premade lines, but I’m not sure. Also not sure how it’s going to have to be done with the new dual reservoir master cylinder. The disc conversion on the front comes made for 1/2 studs but I think I’m going to have a machine shop drill them out for 9/16 to match the rear. There seems to be plenty of meat on the hubs and rotors for it.

Onward.
