I bought a pair of NOS 1-ton pickup running boards from Jim when he was working solo out of his garage. I have never bought from anyone else unless Jim cannot supply what I am looking for. He probably knows more finite details about Advance Design trucks than anyone alive and you'll never meet anyone more honest.

Jim stopped by Mongo's last September. I never had a chance to talk to him, but he was there. It seems he always goes out of his way to visit with us Stovebolters when we're in KC.

Mike 3344 Went to Carter warehouse in Kansas City was like pulling jaw teeth out of a camel but finally got them to help (Covid). Once I got the ice broke got my stuff on the dock out back, couldn't go in. Jim Carter is a great guy helped me on bendix vacuum cylinder oil for brake boosters. Hydraulic jack oil is the same thing all FLAPS have it,friendly local auto parts store.
