Does anyone have any pictures of the rear wheels of a 1953 3600 3/4 ton truck. My truck never had any rear wheel components for the emergency brake. I had to buy all new replacement parts. Now I have to put them together. But I'm not sure on how it goes together.
Any pictures would be great to have, Thanks in advance.

Inside the rear wheels where the brake shoes are. There is the lever that
Has the spreader bar for the E- brake. On that spreader bar there is a spring
And there is also the cable that attaches to the lever for the E- brake.
I just need a picture showing how all that is connected together.

Do you have a huck or bendix brake system? Can you post a picture of your parts?

The parking brake arrangement for a 3/4 ton should be the same as the half ton. Check this illustration. That should help you figure out how they go together.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.

Don't thank me. Thank Keith Hardy for putting that stuff online. I just tracked it down for you.

I just thanked him. But I appreciate the fact that you found the information that I was looking for.
So thank you so much for taking the time to find what I needed.
