Here’s two of the four parade engines we have at my local FD. We recently re-did all the brakes and wiring on the 40. It had a paint job done in the early 2000’s. The 53 burned when our storage building caught fire in a wildland fire this summer. We have a replacement cab, hood, fenders and are going to be getting it and the rest of the body work done this year. After that it’ll be onto its brakes, wiring and whatever other mechanical needs it has. Hopefully going to have her back on the road spring ‘23.
