Finally got brave enough to drive the '37 20 miles to the canvas shop to get the cover for the topper made. I found an old canvas army tarp that
is in good condition but dirty and weathered so it will fit with my "barn find" look. Wanted to get it done before they got busy winterizing and
wrapping boats for the winter.
Also been chasing gas gauge that keeps bouncing around. Pulling out what little hair I have left. Finally discovered part of lower seat frame
was vibrating onto the terminal on the sending unit grounding it out and causing the needle on the gauge to jump back and forth.

Did you make the frame for the "Topper"? Curious headscratch..... Thanks!

The frame is a CK Turk "Caravan" topper that was an aftermarket accessary. It was in pieces in the bed of the truck when I bought it and I almost threw it away not knowing what it was. It had a canvas cover and fit many of the old trucks. It cost $89 which was a lot of money back then.
