well-it's a "worksordon't" item, as most vacuum powered stuff, requires little if any maintenance.perhaps alittle white lube around the shaft, but as i remember, no petroleum based products need should be squirted into the diaphram part of the unit. ya don't need anything in there to eat at the seals or diaphram. oh yeah. if there's screws that hold the thing together, best to tweak on them slightly. vacuum leaks are sometimes a bit of a bugar.
