This truck looks, to me, to be a 1946, 1947,or 48 1st GMC ACR-750 or AC-770. It has the GMC big block six- a 477 gas engine. Put a fifth wheel on it and get a trailer and you could haul your "other" big truck to the shows.

BIG GMC truck

Hey that truck is about 10 minute drive from my house. If anyone is serious about wanting to buy it I don't looking for you.

Why don't you just buy it for all of us on TSB? Then all we have to do is drive it around!

Glenn, my wife knows I've got a thing for '54 Chevys trucks, cause my grandfather had them. When I find a good one, I can't pass it up. I don't think a BIG old GMC would be a good move for me right now. I'm warmimg her up to the sounds of late model ('47-'52) John Deere B's.

Oh, by the way I stole your truck's name for one of mine. "THE BIG 'UN" hope you don't mind. We can call it "THE BIG'UN FROM NEW ENGLAND" if that's a problem?

Well, gonna go grab my hat an' pull on my boots, and "The Big 'Un" an' I are gonna head down to the bank in Georgetown.

Are you trying to get me divorced that truck is only 10 minutes from my house too! I'm still trying to get out of the dog house over the ton and a half forty! Don't show me stuff like that!

Too bad that 'ol boy wasn't closer to me. I would have snatched it up at that price. Saw one that looked close to that one, condition wise, sell for $2500, a few years ago.
