I bought this truck in 1992 and completed much of the heavy body work by 1995. I then put the truck back in storage until 2017 when I took it out of storage for completion. It is a mostly stock lightly changed vehicle with original drive train. It has a new wood bed, new fenders, running boards. cab corners, seat upholstery and it runs well. Soon to come will be new springs, and completion of many small things. The truck ran when I bought it but had no brakes, exhaust, and some rust. It was very solid though and has been fairly easy to work on with the 235 and 4 speed with positraction.
I added a few new pics of bed and one of engine, new springs all around, and a more recent view of body.

We need more info! smile Can we see pictures of how it looked when you bought it, the restoration process and of the engine? Let's see that new bed wood, too.

Thanks,
John

I added pics above. Old pic of original seat, pics of my paint booth in barn, pic with box loaded with parts and junk is from 2017, pic of new wood bed is from 2019 but wood is just laying in bed and has been since installed. Oldest looking pic is from 1992 when work began. Will add more pics at a later date.

I enjoy seeing how others completed their restorations, it reminds me of the time and material required to complete mine. A lot of hard work and money to get to the end. Good job.

My truck is still a work in progress. I continue to work on rubbing out paint and small issues like a non returning right blinker. One big job left is to paint engine and engine bay, I need to get motivation to pull a nice running engine to paint it.
