The accelerator rod on mine stick out of the floor about an inch So not much to max out but carburetor seems like it wide open . I will try to post a few pics

You can adjust the accelerator rod by the bell-crank on the block. Should be the spot you attach the rod to the bell-crank with a nut on each side. Just loosen one side or the other to achieve the right pedal height. Assuming we are talking about a 235.

The rod sticks out 2 1/2"
