Has anyone installed this and did it correct the issue of the shift lever being so loose?

Finally got the shift tower rebuilt. I can attest that the kit does work and gets the shifter back to moving like new instead of slopping around the cab when you move from gear to gear. Attached is a pic of the parts before reassembly. Carter's tech note does not tell you that you may have to take the parts to a machine shop to get the bushing pressed out and to get the pin in the shifter ball replaced, which I had to do. They also did not provide the thin metal washer that goes between the bushing and spring so I made one.
