Be careful, that stuff might end up back in the glove box...
It’s weird how things get held onto!

The benefits of finding an original farm truck! My truck had a few previous owners, one that had the joy of cleaning out my glove box. In fact, he took the box too!

Crowbar65 My 30 or so glove boxes were mostly so mouse eaten they wouldn't hold much, learned to make metal ones, alot tougher to hold em off of my paydays !!
My glovebox had a receipt for 6 hogs delivered to a meat packing plant in Stockton Mo. This was in my panel, I can just imagine how that might have happened.

My 1955 1st glovebox had a new 1954 nickel and the registration cards of the previous 2 owners (before the guy I bought it from). Removed the seat to put in a new gas tank. The cab corners had old tools and empty 6 oz. pop bottles. Underneath the seat I found a mouse nest amongst all the other junk (maps, yardstick, twine etc.). Vacuumed and wiped down the seat thoroughly. Cleaned and vacuumed the whole cab inside. Put everything back together. The truck ran great and smelled much better. As I was cruising down the road a mouse ran up my britches leg. We both were having a heart attack. Thank goodness there was no traffic. I pulled over, opened the door and it jumped out. Other than grumpy ole men, there are other creatures who like old trucks. And before someone asks, yes that was the shortest date I ever had.
"Adding CFM to a truck will only help at engine speeds you don't want to use." "I found there was nothing to gain beyond 400 CFM."
I would clean all or most of those items and put them back in the glove box. Just think of all of the conversations you could have about them at get togethers.

See?! I told you to be careful! Carl is a bad influence, but what a great idea.

Does anybody know what those items are sitting in the exhaust donut? I have found some but don't have a clue what they are.
can you take pictures of just those items?

Cool stuff. I found some real old maps and this radiator cover under the seat of my truck when I bought it. I think it's a pretty rare accessory.

Some sort of clamp thingy. The L shaped piece and the straight piece clip together in either of 2 or 4 spots, and the all thread clamps the other end together around something.
The original owner sure had a thing for light bulbs. Must have been a Boy Scout (Be Prepared) in younger days.
