I haven’t updated my c10 journal in a while and I have a lot to say on that front so I’ll leave it for now. However, I have been tinkering on my wife’s Rambler. I tore off the wheels and tires the other night and pulled the rubber off the rims. I began blasting them in my blasting cabinet.
Well, after 1 hour on the first rim I said, “Screw this! Time to up the output.”
Tonight I went into my wood pile and assembled an 8x4’ box out of scraps to catch the excess material. Then I dug out my 20 gallon pot sand blaster and hooked it up.
8 minutes per rim... ahhhhhh!!! (Insert Tim Allen man grunts here!)
I’m glad I didn’t sell that thing. It sat in the shed for a long time.
