Hi guys do These bolts wear out? Should they be replaced for safety? Or do they just kind of last forever. ohwell

They don't "wear out." They might be weakened by excessive rust, but unless they've been removed, or are somehow loose, there's really no need to replace them. That's a universal recommendation for safety's sake if removed.

As Kevin said, don't reuse U-bolts, they stretch when installed.

I agree, do not use U-bolts that are rusted, as replacements are available
