Hi all. Please help. I am rebuilding a 1950 Chevy pickup. My rear differential is leaking. I need to identify it so i can order gaskets. I don't see any identifying numbers. Attached are a few pictures. The differential has a torque tube.
Right Stuff on da cover side. .see pic. For some reason, i ve had a few covers keak with correct gaskets installed, torqued, wire wheeked, straightened, bla bla bla. Get da propet gasket for diff side. Looks like a Eaton ho52. But with a torque tube.
With half of the pics showing the diff upside down, I was going crazy. But then again, it doesn't take much for that to happen. I think his rig is a 1/2T.
