First off ,I understand i can go with a different length rear end and wheel offset so i wouldn't have to make modifications to my box. The used parts i have available to me are the ones I have acquired over the years that will work with a little modification to my box. So my question is does anyone have mini tubs on their truck that they made. I'm in the idea/ problem solving stage now and would appreciate any ideas/solutions to problems you encountered. One idea I have is making them out of trailer fenders. Seen this on YouTube and like the rounded edge and price. Here's some pictures I got online . Thanks for any information or ideas you have. Dan

Good point about leafspring clearance. The shackle brackets will be mounted on bottom of frame like in photo with the bolt turned 180 . Hope to be even or still a little outside of frame with tub. Thanks
Those look really good on that bed side. You may want to look at Canadian_guy (1940 Resto Mod) in the project forum. He added mini tubs to his bed, they appear to be 67-72 wheel wells.

If I was ever going to do that, I would look for some rusted out AD fenders and use the top/outboard portion of them to mirror whats on the outside of the bed. Even severely rusted fenders are still sound in that area.
