I have a 69 c10 and have it stripped down to just frame and i am wanting to 1: put disc brakes on front and 2:put late model silverado rims on it. I have seen the brake conversion kits but have heard about using later model parts and retro fit it. On the wheels I have heard of spacers but also wondered about retro fitting with later model. If i retro fit (if possible) seems to be better i can kill 2 birds with one stone. any advice would be greatly appreciated... Also should i post this elsewhere?.....Thanks..Rick

many ways to do this, junkyard parts, a junkyard crossmember swap, high dollar disc brake kit. How late of Silverado, 5 lugs or 6?

Rick,
They may not, it's my understanding that some of the late wheel offsets are much greater than on the early trucks.

define "late model".
disc brakes that'll have 6 bolt rotors will be from the aftermarket OR you'll have to fab up some caliper mounts and use some slip-on rotors off the silverado (i haven't tried this yet)
