Hey all;
Its been a minute (or a year) since I've been on here - mostly indulging in my other 4 wheeled hobbies.

Thought I'd share my build story in a quick video form:

That is a good video clip! PM me. Want to learn more about your shop. I’m planning to add on to the woodshop and build an automotive shop. Ran out of room. Want to pick your brain. Brace yourself for the snow! Tom

Is your replacement fuel tank larger than the original? If so who did you get it from?

Thanks, Ed

Hi Tom, will do. Assume you're retired now too?

If you check some of my other videos on that channel you'll see more snippets of the shop - lift, loft, mobile everything!

It's a stock replacement as far as I know. It was new with the truck but varnished inside. I cleaned it out with the rotating pebble treatment on the engine stand and sealed it with Red Kote, and painted it.

Awesome video and nice truck!

I, like Tom, am interested in your shop. I am thinking about building something this spring and I am interested in the dimensions. It looked like you had plenty of room to make things happen without being too cramped.

Thanks,
Phillip

Thanks, its only 22x36, maybe looks bigger in photos. there is a a full width loft 8x22 which is great. Also about 18ft to roof peak so lots of height to rig stuff up.
PS make it bigger!

Beauty. Well done, sir.

Why do farmers insist on drilling untold number of holes in dashes? Bed sides? Anywhere they could think of? On my wedding day, we were decorating my “new to me” Dodge Dakota and were having trouble with the pom poms. Dad piped up, “Just drill some holes along here (the top bed rail) to help tie them off.”

Uh...noooooo.
😉

Also, with the gas tank on the engine stand were you cleaning it? Can you explain that process and your results?
