I’m envious too! You guys on the west coast get trucks in such great shape! We on the east coast get rust buckets!

Wow, what a beautiful truck and what a great a great truck to have on the farm! It looks like it is ready to do what a truck is supposed to do and do it in style.
I would not change a thing, but if you need help with anything, you have come to the right place. Like you said, there is a wealth of information here and knowledgeable people (not me) that are willing to help you. I am always learning things here (I have a lot to learn) and the archived information is vast.

I have had a couple old girls over the years it is indeed an addiction just can’t help myself when it comes to old iron, I had this 51 for a long time should never have let it go was rust free I put a stout 350 in it with a Dodge Volare torsion bar front clip, ran and handled very well Highlander
Welcome from downunder I have an old girl as well lucky my wife doesn’t read this you are in the right place my wife says the truck gets what ever she needs
Welcome Highlander, that is a nice looking Mapleleaf truck, do you know where it came from? You don’t see a lot of those around.
It came from Winnipeg a few years back to one of the San Juan Islands had box altered a bit from grain truck to dump with sides that hinge down and steel plate over original wood deck with boom and winch, don’t know much about the Maple Leaf nuances only had truck a short time hope to dig up information on this site it looks like the best forum for this series truck, if you have any insight on the Maple Leaf would be much appreciated, it has 235 I believe with split dif and 38,000 miles runs well po has done a fair bit of maintenance although does not seem to have proper brake assist with hydro vac, when I get a chance will vacum bleed whole system and booster per manual hope that improves things.
