I saw an wood bed board that lifted up via electric motor from a push button behind the drivers seat. Exposes the gas filler cap for the under the bed tank. I've been looking all over for this in the magazines and online - can't find it. Anyone know where I can find it?

IF I were to try something like that I think I would use an air cylinder and make the mechanism myself. If you have something sitting on it, or it gets hung you can't hurt an air cylinder. If you don't already have compressed air on the truck then this would be a less attractive option, but worth considering.

For an electric one, have you tried asking http://www.amp-research.com/
?

Daves57truck If you are trying to hinge the whole floor look at a linear actuator from Autoloc @ www.autoloc.com. I have seen smaller ones that operate a trunk lid as well in some of the Hot Rod mags. If you want a small door just over the gas cap use a latch cable from new model foreign car with a door popper to make it spring open. Good luck and may the fabrication gods be with you.

If you want to spend $20 instead of $400 you can do as we did and use the arms off of two 80's-90's cougar or T-bird gas filler lids. Also used the factory electric release and if you look closely you can see the plain old screendoor spring that pops the board up when you push the button in the glovebox. Scroll down to where you can click on page 4 and go to the last picture to view this setup. http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d41/coilover/
