I have a 37 maple leaf (Canadian truck) very little information is available that I can find. I’m looking at making it a little more drivable on Modern roads moderns rims/ brakes gearing etc. the truck is a bit too far gone and allready hacked up from pervious owners. The one big problem I have is the bolt pattern. It is a very large 5 bolt that appears to be unique to maple leafs. Has anyone ever taken the dual my spacer of the front wheels to fit a modern steel wheel on the drum and then convert rear to single wheel. Any help would be appreciated thanks | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,061 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,061 | Hy Mike t, welcome, your truck could be a 2 1/2 ton or a 3 ton, could you post the serial number? Your truck should be equipped with Motor wheels which are hub piloted wheels. I doubt that here is a single wheel front hub from the lighter trucks that would fit on your trucks spindle. | | | | Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 9 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 9 | Thanks for the reply not sure how to post a picture here serial is 7152401258 and it’s a model 16-48 if that helps. Ideally I’d like to upgrade the wheels brakes and gearing rear end is easy but match the front wheels is difficult with this bolt pattern. Disc brake conversion would Be ideal that seems to be the hot topic. Basically would like to get it rolling safely down the road and. The brakes and wheels on it all need attention so I’d rather replace with easier to get more modern stuff but would settle for anything really | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,061 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,061 | Hy Mike t, what you are describing sounds like a chassis swap to me? Find a chassis with as close to the same wheelbase as your truck and swap your body onto it. | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 Crusing in the Passing Lane | Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | Are the 5 front lugs on a 7.25" pattern? And does the rear have 10 bolts? That is a common bolt pattern in the 'States. None-the-less, a modern running gear or chassis would be handy.

Where u able to tell the tonnage by my vin thanks | | | | Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 9 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 9 | No unfortunately the mAple leaf is different i had a set of what your describing line up from a motor home p30 chassis I believe but the ddonr fit.
