I am looking at buying a complete rolling frame for my 1949 3800 truck and was wondering if someone here could tell me if the frame I'm looking at is a 3800 frame? I see a lot of difference in this frame compared to mine but you guys might know better.
The one ton has two inch wide front springs, the front leafs in that photo don’t look wide enough And yes my one tons 50 and 53 are flat on top the rear axle so the hump definitely says it’s not a 50-53 3800 frame for sure -s

Measure the wheelbase. A 3800 one-ton is 137', as is a 4100 1-1/2 ton. But the ton-and-a-half will have an obviously different rear axle and front hubs.
