Went to install my Torsion Bar Anchor Cross Member and things do not add up?? See Pictures. The Nut will not tighten down all the way to the chassis. It runs into the round barrel spacer as if there is another washer needed. Seems like I am a spacer short but it is probably something I am just installing wrong. Looked at the Factory Assembly Book, the 1960 Shop Manual and google too. Cannot find a good picture of the frame mounting for this piece. I need to see what bolts, spacers and how it fits to the frame. I have seen pictures that show vague information but nothing detailed. I do not have acces to a local 1960 C20 or I would run over and look.
It looks as there is only one way to mount the Torsion Bar Anchor to the frame so I do not think that is an issue. But the proper sequence of bolt and washers as well as who goes on top may be the issue I cannot solve. thanks

Pics: 1. #1584, the pieces that I have from the original removal, should be all of the parts
2. #1582, view of assembled nuts, spacers and such at end of torsion bar anchor
3. #1586, best depiction of correct C20 Torsion B15821582ar. No mounting hardware shown to the Anchor... again
4. #1585, a beautiful schematic showing the Anchor mounting bolt. Again, no details on what I need and yes it is from a newer model year.
