The search is painful on my Ipad. The original springs on my 49 3600 are W shaped.
Looks like most of the posts are talking about 3100’s or lowering. I’d like to find some OE replacement or slight (1-2”) lift springs for my 3600. Does anyone have a recommendation that isn’t $1000 or more a set. Junkyard scavanged options are welcome too.

Check this link https://www.truckspring.com/suspension-parts/leaf-springs.aspx , they offer springs as far back as 1950, the front are $166.00 and the rear are $214.00 each. Hope it helps.

Thanks, I saw that. Whats confusing is they list the rear springs as 1.75”. I haven’t measured them yet, but reading around the web led me to believe they are 2” on the 3600

I ordered mine from General Spring KC. After 3 years, I am satisfied with them. make you you measure, read, and verify their description matches your application.

Maybe a bit late response, but I got my 3600's springs from St Louis Spring at the recommendation of someone else here. This was a couple months ago but I think they were something like $160/each and about $40 shipping. Includes bushings in the eyes

Thanks for the replies.
Joe at General Spring had OE springs in stock and ready to ship.

Swapped out the front springs and got a free 2” lift!

I did run into a problem tho. The angle shims were oddly placed. The passenger was inserted from the rear and the driver from the front. With the shims in place I’m not able to pull the spring pack down to touch the axle pad. The pins are centered by the way.
Is this normal?
