Anybody know if there is a way to tell when your truck rolled off the assembly line?

What Make Year Model Truck.
What size engine?

With the above information, we will be able to tell you where to find head/block casting codes and casting dates.

For all Stovebolt years, we can then decode that information.

That something I've been wondering for some time as well.
I've got a '60 that was sold new in Nov. '59, #918 off the Oakland line.
Which brings up the move to Fremont & when it happens. One story is mid model year switch, the other is all 1960s were built in Freemont but continued of us the "O" stamp due to oversite.

Your engine casting dates might look similar to these casting dates.

Thank you both so much! Looks like the block was cast on July 6th, 1961! G61. I'll check out the head tomorrow. I really appreciate the help.
