It runs excellent but I have a question for the future of it. I also have a nice running '56 261 that I've stored away. If my 250 ever gives up on me then how hard/easy would it be to put the 261 in it? Or would you guys trade the 261 for another 250 and 4 spd. for a spare setup?

The 261 is very desirable to those of us with pre-1963 trucks, so you should have no problem arranging a trade for a 250. Unfortunately, I don't have one ;-) | | |
