The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks 1960 C20 / C10 Cab differences ??

I will lift my cab off the frame soon... I noticed none of the cab mount kits available look similar to what I see under my 1960 C20. My pads are square, about 4 x 4 x 1 inch thick. Also, the floor boards have welded in mounts that are similar to what you see under the rear coil springs to hold them in place. I have not seen replacements of just this part or the floor section showing this type of mount. Just wondered if anyone else has seen this. I would like to do a fairly authentic replacement of the mounting kit with new parts. The floor pans need at least a partial replacement and I do want the proper mounting holes. I will add pictures later today. ( heading off for my morning bike ride, 17 miles of pain for the fat boy...... )

picture is of front right cab floor. red circle is around welded in round piece. I looked at LMC Truck catalog and it is possible their part includes this piece. But, I still have not located a cab mount kit with square rubber mount pads.

Iirc, no one makes the correct square pads. I ended up reusing the originals for my truck. You may need to make new ones up. But the good news is that they are square! You’ve got this!🤣

One thing you could do is send them to Steele-Rubber and have them make a set for you.
