Can you guys recommend a shop that can turn brake drums and reline the brake shoes for my 1956 Chevrolet 6100 2 ton?

This seems to be a lost art around here. Lansing area preferred but I'll take them anywhere in.

Call Central Michigan Kenworth on Cedar St, they might do it for you or be able to recommend someone. I remember there is a Ryder truck rental in Lansing but can't remember where it is, that might be another place that could steer you in the right direction.

For future searchers, Holt Auto Service Center and Machine Shop in Lansing will turn drums.

Need to send out my shoes, no one local does this anymore.
