The steel lines going to my 2spd rear have rotted and leak. While I'm making new lines and going through the whole system, I want to be able to just move the truck around in High gear. Does anyone have a quick and dirty lockout design I can use?
I'm imagining a plate that mounts in the place of the vacuum shifter with a bolt or rod trough it that is at the proper depth to mimic the plunger at the depth that I need.
Got any suggestions, links, drawings, etc???

That's why you never park in HI range, is something bumps the truck the plunger could fall half way putting the rear in neutral allowing the truck to roll free. Take the diaphragm and plates out, cut a length of tubing to fit over the plunger rod and put the two plates back on the rod...just make sure the tubing is at the correct length to have the rear fully in HI range. Put the cap back on and plug the vacuum ports to keep dirt out.
