I've got a left front fender off a 68 Chevy and a bed off a 72 Chevy. the fender has a pretty nasty ding on the nose. The bed seems to be solid but has a lot of dents and dings.

I'd like to play with them to see if I can work the dents out.

What do the experts say?

That fender doesn't look that bad. I could probably get that straightened in about an hour. The bed can be a challenge as the double wall construction makes access to the backside more difficult.
Give it a shot. It can be satisfying to beat on something and get it straight. You don't have anything to lose by trying.

Some I would beat on. Some I would start bending new pieces.

Yeah, left side bed panel with the woodpecker dents along the top rail and the tailgate (dented thru the logo) are probably destined for the scrap pile. Especially the logo on the tailgate. Maybe Robert (MPandC) could restore that, but it would be way more expensive than a replacement tailgate.

Thanks for the input. The bed will probably finish its useful life as a trailer. It might be interesting to tow behind my equally dented Suburban.

You would be amazed what a stud welder and a slide hammer could do in a short time. A shrinker disc would also help.
