53 green 1- ton 'Bolter 5 Joined: Feb 2013 Posts: 614 Bucks County, Pa.	I’d be on RT.81 South. Doing 65mph. 53 loaded with with camping gear . Yes I was going to attempt another drive. Little colder than I would like. But there is a predication of rain on Saturday. Typical weather for our gathering! Always next year! Maybe Winchester is still a go! Stay safe! VEW 'Bolter V Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 1,002 VA	I finished doing the work on the '57, which I was planning on driving to HC, pulling the '46 Higgins camper. I would've hoped to be somewhere's down 81 by now, but in all the years I've been going to HC, I've never made it without something to take care of along the way. Rear axle seal, carb clogged up, electrical dysfunction, etc. That's just part of the fun! You guys drive safe! ~ Victor 1941 3/4-Ton Pickup (in process). Tim and I would have been on the road since last Thursday. Memphis Beale street Friday night, Broadway Nashville Saturday night. Stop and visit HRL Sunday. Then on down to Huntsville for the space museum on Monday. I even have some Saturday night meeting door prizes. Here is one of them! Guess I'll have to keep it! Both times, when it was time to go home, I found myself just standing there, not wanting to leave. Hard to explain really. I don't know if I have ever experienced that before. It is an event which includes people who have the same disease to which I am afflicted, coolest of the cool trucks. and some of the best people on this planet. 1952 5-window - return to "as built" condition \| 1950 3100 with a 235 and a T-5 transmission
