It’s a 47 panel with 44,000 miles. Pretty sure head has never been off. Any tricks/ideas on how to get this thing off?

Might have used sodium silicate for leaks. Keep trying.

Or stick a bolt in the manifold bolt holes.

You have to pull the rocker shafts to get to it. Then go with the putty knife.

I thought GM put it there on purpose for this reason.
