Just wondering if and how I can use a dummy grenade as my automatic floor shift handle? Doesn't the auto tranny require a mechanism to engage itself like all modern vehicles?
My dad is fast approaching 97 years of age...the grenade was his "contraband" that he brought home from his Army service during WWII. Obviously, has a lot of meaning to me. Most of them are cast aluminum, so they don't weigh neasrly as much as the real thing. I had one mounted on a wooden base with a big red tag with the number 1 on the pin ring and a label that said "Complaint Department- - - - -Take a Nunber!"
