| | | | Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 4,501 Moderator, Electrical Bay | | Moderator, Electrical Bay Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 4,501 | One additional note: if you look at the circuit, you'll see there is in the top circuit a .01uF capacitor tying pin 5 to ground. When I drew this, I forgot that. Please add it in the bottom circuit. It has been my observation that the 555 chip will suffer false trigger unless pin 5 is grounded with a small capacitor.
