I do have a request that maybe you can help me with. I need to fix a rear main oil seal leak. I'm looking for a place to get pan gaskets plus I need the torque value for the rod bearing caps and main bearing caps

fred c,

Welcome to Stovebolt.com

You should post a new top as a new topic/title (rather than "taking a ride in" an unrelated existing topic). Also, start your post in the appropriate forum (Engine forum, with this question).

Also, in every new thread/question, always include you truck's make (Chevrolet or GMC), year, and model (and, state the size/year/source of engine, if it is an engine question).

Yep, the engine folks are going to need more information, like TC wrote.

Welcome to the 'bolt.
