Just don't see a whole lot of AD's with these visors. What was the original entent for these back in the day. If you have these visors on your AD let's see a pic guys.

Some of them had a colored crystal/ dot – red, yellow, or blue – that would glow when the headlights were on. I have also seen some made of translucent plastic.
Possum, they have some similar ones on Fleabay, most likely Chi-Com manufacture. I've been studying on buying a set.

The "blue dot" was put in tail lights and head lights so aircraft would be less likely to spot them. After the war they just caught on. In some states blue dot tail lights are not allowed so either get the ones with switched bulb on the blue light or carry some electrical tape. The headlights with the blue dot in them don't matter since headlights are different colors now anyway. I have the blue dot headlights with the blue dot inside and blue dot tail lights. I also have the blue dot stainless visors. I don't know if I'll run the visors but its not like you have to cut your chassis to put them on or off. To each his own IMHO.
I think they make the trucks look sleepy...😴

Marty: I like those. They look like they came off a car. The ones I have (similar to the ones in Possum's pix) are thin steel. They are sharp - a kid ran into one of them - fortunately it didn't cut him.
These on my COE, were on my 51 Chevrolet pickup, when my dad purchased it back in the early 70s. I have another set, still with the plastic on them, that I purchased from my local Chevrolet dealership, back in the 80s.
