I bet John is very happy. I saw the truck in Macungie in 2017 with no bed and the hood sides missing and it had a crowd of people around it. People are going to lose there minds when they see it now. Congrats on the completed project!

Carl, this is actually John Vannatta's build, I just helped with some rust repair and hood fabrication when a replacement cab was too wide for the original hood. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,305 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,305 | Oh, so you got to do the "easy" parts.

It had to be one of the most photographed truck at the show! Great work Robert! I'm sure the "done" pictures don't do the finished project justice but it still looks amazing to me. I can't wait to see it in person.

Truly impressive, not only John's commitment and passion to re-create the truck his Dad had when he was young, but high level of quality of the finished product. Robert, he went to the best to complete the metal work, great job. Both John and you should be very proud. Billy

Having followed the build on this thread over the time of the build, seeing it in person was inspiring to say the least.

This is going to be a really dumb question, but here it goes anyway. Are you a business open to the public or are you private? If public where are you located?
