1965 Truck Motors: 230-292. Probably fits other motors like 194, 250, GMC's. After about 1962, Chevy was all about interchangeability of parts.

Oh..Great news....Scored the last NEW/OEM on ebay complete with points, cap/rotor vac advance in the original box $100. The instructions that came with it were worth the thrill...Thanks for your research....Just wanted to confirm the correct application....

I just got a similar distributor in a horsetrade, part # 1110499, and did a little measuring. With a bit of creative tinkering and machining it looks like it could be adapted to a 216/235/261 engine. It would still be a point-type unit, obviously, but doing that would eliminate the moving housing with the vacuum advance, and possible intermittent ground problems associated with the earlier distributor. Ok - Here goes for some conversation....The seller on ebay bought a parts inventory from a very long ago closed Studebaker Dealer... Maybe a dozen distributors, some complete carburetors, & a bunch of carb parts - all NOS. I bought this distributor and a bowl for a Rochester 'B' - I bought this distributor with the intent to replace that HEI that's on my truck, but the more I look at it, with the box and that Stude address...I'm starting to fall in love with it.... Yeah I know I should be committed but if I can't share this with you guys, everyone else will ignore me....(in my family)............
