Can the headlight bezel and grille be polished? I recently got my truck painted.I would like to keep original parts on it if I can. I don't want to put them back on if they can't be polished. Any tips to polish or restore?
Depending on the year. I have used Brasso on my 50' truck light bezels, hub caps and bumpers. Huge, huge improvement. I used 00 & 0000 steel wool . Maybe try a tiny piece on inside as a test. Good luck.

If stainless AND not dented (or heavily scratched somehow) Never Dull or Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream (Blue Magic better IMO). Some elbow grease with the Blue Magic will yield the same results as shown in the video link and for headlight trim and narrow moldings I find it to be as fast as mechanical polishing (approx 1 1/2 hours to polish out all four dog dish caps on my daughters '65 Rambler BUT does take more work). For chrome I'd stick with something that specifically states it is for chrome plating (Blue Magic is but I've only used on stainless).
