I've currently got universal radiator hoses, top & bottom, that does not fit well. Does anyone know of a pre-formed radiator hose,(part #),that will work well on my truck. I install the radiator then bend a coathanger or heavy piece of wire to match the length and bends the hose needs to make. I also note the inlet/outlet sizes of motor and radiator. Then I take the wire to my local auto parts house and pick up several hoses that look close. Test fit the hoses and when one works return the others for refund. Sometimes you may have to cut an end or section out of a hose to get just what you need.

| | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 | For my '56 Burb, the upper hose from the Vortec engine is on the passenger side and the radiator outlet is on the driver's side  . This required an extra long hose also requiring two different diameter ends. I went to the local muffler shop and asked them to "flair" one end of a 1-1/2" O.D. pipe to 1-3/4" O.D. that's about 4" long. I inserted this "coupler" between two pre-formed hoses and secured it with hose clamps. | | |
