Usually, the vacuum operated wiper motor connects to that fitting on the intake manifold. I see in your picture that another hose is hanging loose and unconnected. Follow both hoses back to the other end and let us know what you find.

Hi Wolfgang, That's a perfect reason not to connect that hose! Just be sure the unused vacuum port is plugged or your engine won't run very well. Good luck,
