Does anybody make a stock frame for it. Its a 2 door sedan. I haven't seen it yet, my dad is picking it up in Fla. thanks Jim | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 | There's lots of vendors that will custom build a frame...TCI totalcostinvolved.com for one. fatmanfab.com is another. Best to pick up an issue of "Street Rodder" magazine that has lots of vendors advertising their produce. BTW I've own a '31 Chevy 2 door sedan since '68 and hopefully will "resurrect" it in the near future. Here's a pic of it back in '80. Can always use spares...

It looks like I have enough length but only about 22 inches of width near the front of the engine would be. Would the stock radiator be enough cooling with an electric fan or do I have to find room for a radiator too. The orig one is in great shape and looks so good. I assume I will have to do some fancy steering box work. Oh yeh, I have quite a bit of woodwork to do also. Heres the picts! thanks Jim | | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 210 Member | Member Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 210 | Oops here's the other one. | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 244 | Originally posted by Seon: Here's a pic of my '31 Sedan with a 327 and Offy tunnel ram. Your engine compartment should be about the same size. I used a Mallory dual points distributor so I don't think an HEI would fit unless you cut the firewall. I did have a new core installed and used a 7 lbs cap. BTW the pic was taken back in '69 .
