Can anyone verify the inner front wheel hub NOS part number for a '51, 3600? I'm finding two numbers; 909526 and 909026. I need one inner bearing set and don't need any excess inventory due to buying the wrong set.

Thanks,
RonR

Ron,
909026 is the correct number for the complete bearing assembly, 909526 is the number for the cone only.

Thanks Dave. I just pulled the trigger on two nos 909026 bearings for $57.00 delivered. Just wanted to feel good about getting a deal (?) on the right vs wrong bearings.

Well, news on the bearings. Got em, they are exactly as described. Good news. Last year on the way down to Luckebach Tx, the left front brake became tight to the point the wheel nearly locked up. Took considerable effort on a vacant lot to make things driveable. Well, after getting home I tried to check the inner bearing (outer was fine) and couldn't get the hub off (this is a 3600). Thinking the heat had caused a problem I bought the aforementioned nos inners expecting to need one. Today I buckled down, modded my three jaw puller a bit and was successful in pulling the hub. Good news is inner bearing is in new looking condition.

Images provided in case someone is curious about what the originals look like. If you look at the second image, the $6.95 price on the box sure would be nice today. Also, in the later images the dark stains are not rust, just dried oil. Over the past few months I have seen nos bearings with obvious rust on bearings and races. Something to be aware of and on the lookout for if buying nos.
