It seems like my mileage changes a little every week lately but last winter I saw a couple miles per gallon in my mixed driving. I guess I should have recorded it but when I read an article discrediting the tailgate down theory I found it hard to believe that they could disprove it scientifically.

You can gain about 17% mpg by driving like a grandma.... of course that is no fun..
