Greetings bolters!
Looks like I have almost all parts to install my park brake back into my 54 GMC
lest what the assembly manual calls a "bumper". It is round and goes on the firewall side on the friction bar between the guide and washer/cotter pin.
Anybody know what it is made of ?...guessing...rubber? (Perhaps I could make one) a pic would be nice, or, a location of where I might find one.
Thanks in advance and BOLT ON!

Thank you bartamos, I don't usually throw anything away so I'll check my old parts drawer and might get lucky.

Yep, it's a rubber washer, probably about 1/2" thick. A guy could cut one out of an old tire in a pinch.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.
