Well fellas more trouble found.
Dis assembled the right front drum brake, found two short shoes.

discovered left side bearing spun. had to use gear puller to remove left front drum. Two long shoes hiding in there!

Spindle has grove worn underneath where bearing race sits. Bearing is destroyed. Need original spindle. All I see is 2in drop spindles. Anyone have spares laying around from lowering thiers?

First find out what year and model range those spindles fit.
Then post a wanted ad in the swap meet section. The more info you provide the easier for someone to figure out if their old used whatever part is useful to you.

I am not aware of any dropped spindles for TF trucks. The ones I have seen are for cars which are completely different. There are dropped axles available however. I suggest that you try to locate a complete front axle from someone that has converted to an independent suspension. That way you can get all the parts you need. You will more than likely have to replace the king pins regardless of what you find.

I found a spindle that is NOS and looks correct, but lists for many year models most notable a corvette. My 1959 model year truck is not listed but I'm tempted to buy it but I have no way of knowing if it fits.

Anyone know?

Chevy cars prior to 55 used an "A" arm suspension with king pins. Corvette also used that style front end in the first series. I'm willing to bet it won't work on a truck.
